Becoming a client

You have decided to invest in UCITSs, and you wish to know about the steps to follow

Individual :Our Banque Populaire branches are at your disposal to assist you in your investment approach.

Business or Institutional Investor : Please contact UCM directly.

Before carrying out the investment, we recommend that you seek information concerning the characteristics of the fund in which you wish to invest, using the Data Sheet or Key Investor Information. That is a legal document that has been reviewed by the CVDM, and that shows you the level of risk of the fund, the investment universe, and the terms and conditions of subscription / redemption.


Subscribing through the network of Banque Populaire branches

Our sales network is able to proceed with the formalities necessary for the subscription.

To facilitate and make faster administrative procedures, remember to specify the code Maroclear and the exact name of the fund you have selected. The Maroclear code of a fund is its registration number : it allows to avoid errors and to secure the transaction . The Maroclear codes are available on the Key Investor Information document of the fund.

Once you have obtained information on those elements, please contact our sales network. Tell your contact person the amount that you wish to invest, the name of the fund, and its Maroclear code.


Subscribing with UCM (non-clients of the Banque Populaire Group, as well as Corporations / Institutional Investors)

Our Financial Advisors will offer different investment vehicles after analyzing your goals and performance requirements as well as your risk profile.

They will then inform you of the terms and conditions that apply to putting together the client dossier*, subscription procedures, any costs that may be incurred, and the tax regime in force, and they will invite you to a preliminary work meeting before initiating the subscription transaction.

- Clientele identification documents

  • Extract from the Registry of Companies or equivalent (for foreign legal persons), less than three months old
  • Articles of association – Latest version
  • Document confirming the authority of persons authorized to enliven the accounts and copies of original identification cards or registration of such persons

Costs incurred

Investments in mutual funds carry possible costs in respect of entry fees (subscription) and / or exit fees (redemption)

In addition to those possible fees, custody fees may be applied in respect of management of the securities account by the depositary bank. They vary from one institution to another and depend on the size and client portfolio composition .
